Welcome To Archers of East Riding

The Archers of East Riding Archery Club was established in October 2009 by a small group of enthusiastic archers.

Based at Hutton Cranswick SRA sports ground, near Driffield, it boasts an 11 acre shooting field with a club house for when the weather becomes too much.

…….Latest News…….

Sadly due to the current Coronavirus ALL archery competitions at the club has been stopped until further notice. Please adhere to this information.

But we have opened for shooting under current Archery GB guidelines. AOER have now introduced the following instruction in which all members who wish to shoot must adhere too.

In accordance with Archery GB and HMG guidelines we are able to restart shooting at Hutton Cranswick SRA subject to certain additional rules and restrictions.  These rules are to keep shooting both safe and accessible and ensure compliance with the guidelines.
1 =Please confirm to the secretary that you have read and will abide by the Guidance Notes for Archers issued by AGB 13 May 2020.
2 =On arrival at the SRA allow one additional car parking space between you and the next vehicle.
3 =You must have your own hand sanitizer and anti-bacterial spray.
4 =A maximum of 6 targets may be set up.  Each shooting day will be divided into morning, afternoon and evening “slots”.  To avoid clashes and a complex booking system please advise the secretary of which day in the week and which slot you want to shoot.  A first and second choice is needed in case of overbooking.  This will stay as your slot until further notice and means at the moment that you can only shoot once a week.
5 =First to arrive for any slot will be “field captain”.  They must disinfect the container locks, open the container, disinfect and set up the warning signs, and repeat the procedure at the end of the slot.  The covid-19 virus can survive well on metal and plastic surfaces so please be careful.
6 =You are responsible for the setting up and disinfecting of your own target, both before and after use.
7 =You should take away the face and pins you have used and bring them back with you at the next slot.
8 =The same basic rules apply to clout so keep flags 5 metres apart and well away from any target archers who may be shooting.
Please adhere to the guidelines above. Thank you for your patience in these difficult times
