Welcome To Archers of East Riding

The Archers of East Riding Archery Club was established in October 2009 by a small group of enthusiastic archers.

Based at Hutton Cranswick SRA sports ground, near Driffield, it boasts an 11 acre shooting field with a club house for when the weather becomes too much.

Winter Archery Shooting

Outdoors: Club days are Sunday mornings at the sports field starting at 9:30-10:00
and Wednesdays 10:00 till dusk (weather permitting) But don’t forget you can shoot at any other time you wish

Indoors: September 2018 to April 2019. This will take place THURSDAY evenings only at Blackridge. 7pm till 9pm. Bookable by those wishing to participate, there will be no subsidising from the club, it is up to members who wish to shoot to book and make payment. Bookable in the following 10 week blocks. All are THURSDAYS, 27th Sept 2018 to 29th Nov 2018. 6th Dec 2018 to 7th February 2019. 14th February 2019 to 18th April 2019. The cost is £45 per person for ten weeks. Rounds will be indoor rounds shot to GNAS / WA rules. If you need further information or to book a session please contact Blackridge Archery, phone 01377 254818. There will be no Tuesday club night at Blackridge.

Summer Archery Shooting

During the summer the field is available all day everyday for archers to practice.
Organised club days are:

Weekend: Sunday mornings starting at 9:30-10:00
Weekdays: Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5pm until dusk
and Wednesdays 10am till late

Affiliation

The Club forms part of the Yorkshire Archery Association, is affiliated to the Northern Counties Archery Association (NCAS) and the Grand National Archery Association (GNAS).

Indoor Shooting 2018

Thursday March 29th 2018 is our final night at Blackridge until October. AOER members can still shoot there if range time is available, the standard range fee applies. Otherwise its the field, good shooting. read more

Beginners Course 2019

We are holding a beginners course at the SRA field starting in August 2019. The course will run on a Sunday. August 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. There will be September 1st in reserve. Qualified coaches will run the sessions. The fee for an adult will be £60, and £30 for a junior. Payment in full is required before the course starts please. The maximum number we can have on the course is 12 people. Loaned archery equipment will be supplied for the duration of the course and maybe retained for a maximum of four weeks after the course has finished. AOER AGM 2019

Bet you can’t wait for this one. Yes our AGM 2019 will take place at Hutton Cranswick SRA immediately after the Michelle George Memorial shoot. The agenda for the AGM currently consists of, Receive of reports from current officers, elect officers for 2019 – 2020, this includes a new child protection officer. Finally AOB, if there is anything you would like to raise, please contact the clubs Secretary, Ken Wilkinson. The Memorial Shoot and AGM will take place Sunday 27th October 2019.
