I walked the distance of 13 miles walking 100 yards 226 times shooting 678 arrows whilst the club members of the Archers of East Riding undertook a competition shooting at various heart themed targets.
We held a raffle, sold cakes and refreshments. We also held some Have-A-Go sessions for non-Archers to try their hand at the art of Archery.
I would like to thank all of the Club Members who donated raffle prizes and money as part of of my fundraising efforts in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
A big thank you to all those who helped set up for the day, ran the catering, raffle and cake stand and ensured that everything ran smoothly
Thank you to those who took part in the funshoot, unfortunately I couldn’t arrange better weather but well done to everyone that stuck it out and I hope you enjoyed the targets and the shooting!!!
Thanks to those family and friends who supported the event in such inclement conditions
A massive thank you and very much heartfelt gratitude to the small band of archers who saw me through the day and stayed until my 678th arrow, you don’t know how much that was appreciated and how much it meant to me
With many thanks to you all and and to the members, friends and families of the Archers of East Riding we raised the grand total of £660
